Their small pack consisted of three males and two females. There was no doubt who the alpha female was...it was the two legged one. There didnt seem to be a twolegged male that had the same role but the roan half mane male was the dominant one. That much was clear. If there wasnt anyone to take the lead Tarr had no problem taking it, but with someone that strong it would be foolish to even try. That however didnt mean he needed the male to think on his own paws. He knew he was a good hunter - most of the time. Now he was in the lead, not for the entire pack but at least he was in front. It had only taken an eye and the pale half mane female had responded and Tarr guessed she was probably both hungry and bored - just like him. Ever so slowly the earth turned, shifting in such way the ray of the sun began to give some warmth even in the north. It was yet to be true spring but here and there Tana felt the difference. The winds didn't seem as cold and perhaps the days were a little lighter, a little longer. She did her best to not think of what could have been. Keeping herself busy.
Most of the time she had worked with tokotas belonging to others but today she had decided that the biggest female of her pack, Kalipsiksuaq would get to follow her out. It was too soon for the others in the tribe to return from migration but as so many times before it was like there was too much at the tribal grounds that tugged at her wounds. She had also hurt one she cared for a lot and she wasn't sure on how to make it better. She owed him so much.

A SuccessAidan was sat on top of Azdhea as he was the tokota he knew the most and was the most likely to allow Aidan to ride him for an extended period of time. Walking along side him was the fluffy barbary Draven and two huge dires, Koning and Banier. Due to Koning’s personality there was no way Aidan was going to get a chance to ride the huge dire, even if he really wanted to. He had never ridden a dire before but did not want to push his luck, which he was already pushing by working the four tokotas together. But Aidan was hoping a hunt would distract them from each other and pull them together to work as a makeshift pack. That was the hope anyway, who knew if it would work at all but so far no fights had broken out so that was at least one good thing. Aidan felt that if they just kept on moving they would all be fine, and he made sure to keep the dires on one side of him and Draven, who did not really like others, on the other side. Azdhea was too busy daydreaming away to be any real

The start in their new life was loud and shaky and all in all uncomfortable. After the old and not really airworthy thing that his company outputted him as airplane hitted the ground and started to creak as it was just about to fall apart, the young man dared a glance out of the window. Not that there was much to see. It was a cold, grey day and he could barely distinguish sky and ground. Around twenty minutes ago it even had started to snow and he didn’t believed that he would survive this flight. But somehow the pilot, a tribe member from the Issorartuyok Tribe, managed to land the rusty machine safely on the ground without getting his two passengers killed.
Outside the plane, the snow fell silently onto the heavy snow blanket that already covered the frozen ground. The runway was not even noticeable for him, but the man in the cockpit seemed to know

A Mixed Bag of Tokotas- FishingThe rivers were flowing now, rippling through the woods and lands that sat in the distance from the tribe lands. The brutal winter blizzards had come to a halt, and new life sprung up in every direction. A thin layer of ice and snow still speckled the landscape, but with the coming color of springtime flowers made the once dreary winter weather seem to melt away. Yips and barks filled the air at the river’s bend, loud splashes echoing in the afternoon air as the beasts played. Their ward had taken a seat at the edge of water, and now, she fiddled with her knife, cutting angles into the block of wood that she held tight. Every now and then, she would cast them a fleeting glance, a gentle shake and sigh leaving her lips before her focus once again found the object that she continued cutting into. There could not be anything more different than the group that she had been given to watch, and that was what she loved.

She had decided to forgo the saddle today, seeing as though her Tokota would be soaking wet by time they ended their fishing trip. Riding a wet, fishy Tokota was no fun.
The weather was nice, and she needed the exercise, so her only complaint was the mud. So. Much. Mud. As much as she was happy spring had sprung, the melted snow had caused an overabundance of the nasty stuff.
“Come on, Leo!” Bri called back to Leonato, who had started snapping at a butterfly. He ignored her, the thought of eating the bug filling him with determination.

There was already discontent on the dominant female’s face, though Jezibell knew it would take a lot more than a good time to bring a smile to this particular muzzle. She ran her hands through the solid white collar of the female, causing a huff to leave the beast’s muzzle. “I’ll get you back home soon, momma. But Aidan said it would be good for you to get out of the enclosures and get your pelt in the sun.” The brown huffed in response, casting her amber yellow eyes back to the group that followed in her steps. Billy Goats Ruff- HuntingIt was misty as the group made for the mountainside, head high and tails wagging. Playful yips of delight came from the spitball Toki that raced between the legs of the two Dires. Arrax, the bearmarked greying, kept his nose away from the ground simply to keep away from little Loki, although Balth, the halfmane piebald, often lowered his muzzle, licking and slobbering all over the much smaller male as the Toki’s split colored eyes flashed excitement and joy. The curly, who took his place at the rear of the pack, exchanged small chuffs with the longmane female who made pace beside him. Valkye, with her heart shaped facial marking and pretty tea red eyes, was new to the group that had grown acquainted with one another. The others all had spent some time in the company of one another a few times before, and the longmane took notice of the reactions between the others during their brief journey. Rite of the Hunt (Finduilas and Azdhea)Maybe this hadn’t been a good idea. Naasir Iparis really should have fought a little harder while trying to convince Embla to come with him. Finduilas was HER mount after all, but it seemed the other handler had other important matters to attend to. Fine, if she didn’t want to come with him and finish her own Tokotas’ rites, than he would just do it all himself! Expect there was one little issue with that. The rules of the Rite of the Hunt stated that each Tokotas needed a handler or one of the original starters in order to complete it. Well he could just have another Tokotas following them around, but that might end up a lot harder than he wanted it to be. Finduilas was usually good about following orders but what of the other? No, he’d have to find another handler willing to help out. But who in the heck would do such a thing? Sadly it seemed that not a lot of other Tokotas trainers wanted to help. Even asking within his own tribe yielded nothing. Guess he had

- Your Tokota must have at least 300+ of additional HP after reaching Dominant status (625 HP total if the Tokota was originally uploaded as Submissive.) You must have your HP confirmed by an admin before you can begin the Passage of the Alpha.
- Your Tokota must have completed at least five (in each activity) successful hunts, fishing trips, explorations and caving (and/or diving) expeditions.
- Your Tokota must have received at least one first place in any class in any group-sanctioned competition, including continuous events.
